The Story

It's a dream come true to be able to finally have a photography studio space where I can play with studio lighting, get just the image I want, accommodate other photographers, and experiment with studio lighting set-ups. I'm happy to rent the space as well, and assist other great talents. Let's collaborate!

The Oberlin Connection

In high school in the 70's I discovered Stofan Studios on East College in Oberlin, Ohio.  I developed (pun intended) a love of photography that led me to work for the local Oberlin News Tribune. I learned to develop my own film and print my own photos.  But it was studio lighting that fascinated me. Unable to afford the equipment or the space for an actual photography studio, I honed my skills with makeshift facilities for years.  I have now retired from the the corporate world and have the studio I always wanted.  How wonderful that it is located where Stofan Studios once was!  It is my heart that developing photographers and seasoned photographers alike can use the space to make great portraits and have fun photoshoots.  It only took 50 years, but I am hoping for many more years of great work and FUN whether I am behind the camera or assisting others.  Let's collaborate!
